About Us
For neurodivergent people navigating psychedelics and altered states — alone, until now.
We are an autistic-led community exploring the intersection of autism, psychedelics, altered states, healing, integration, and lived experience.
We build shared language and create spaces for safe exploration. For those of us who have had to navigate alone, we are here to compare maps and chart our courses together.
- March 2020
Founded as an open invitation to explore the intersection of autism, altered states, and the intentional use of psychedelics.
- Growth
What emerged was a global hub for connection and lived experience.
- Today
We discovered a community that needed a place to land — and we continue building that place together.
Neurodivergence + Psychedelics
How psychedelic experiences differ across neurotypes. This includes sensory processing, integration, symbolic material, and navigating altered states.
Community-Generated Knowledge
Translating peer support dialogue and lived experience into frameworks that can inform clinical and academic work.
Clinical Translation
Building frameworks for clinicians who work with autistic clients, informed by neuroscience, pharmacology, and neurodivergent experience.

Justine Lee
Co-Founder, Autistic Psychedelic Community
BS in Neurobiology · MS in Pharmacology · MFT/LPCC in training
APC was co-founded and is currently stewarded by Justine Lee, a neurodivergent educator, researcher, and peer facilitator whose work bridges neuroscience, psychedelic education, and community support.
With a background in neurobiology and pharmacology, she brings an integrative perspective shaped by scientific training, lived experience, and long-term community engagement.

Kel Dawson
Psychedelic Education & Ethics Advisor
Kel supports APC as Psychedelic Education & Ethics Advisor, bringing insight from within psychedelic spaces as well as a systems-level perspective on sustainability, ethics, and organizational integrity.
His role with APC is advisory and collaborative, helping inform the direction of the work while honoring APC’s community-centered values.
For neurodivergent people, psychedelics and altered states raise questions that existing medical and clinical systems aren’t designed to answer.
There is no shared language for these experiences. There is no community built for the people having them. APC exists to build what was missing.
This community is for autistic and neurodivergent people who are looking for a place to land — somewhere their experiences are recognized without needing to be translated or explained away.
Shared Language
Translating subjective experiences into shared maps and frameworks that make sense to the people having them.
Education + Dialogue
Creating spaces for affirming conversations so neurodivergent voices are included in broader discussions about psychedelics.
Community Infrastructure
Building durable pathways for connection and support, informed by shared lived experience.
