The agreement that governs your access to and use of the APC website, forms, events, community spaces, and other APC-controlled offerings. By interacting with APC, you agree to these Terms.
Welcome to the Autistic Psychedelic Community (“APC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the APC website or participate in APC spaces.
These Terms should be read together with APC’s Privacy Policy, Community Agreements, event-specific terms, payment terms, and any additional guidelines provided for a specific program, meeting, workshop, course, or community space.

Eligibility
APC is intended for adults. By using the APC website or participating in APC spaces, you represent that you are at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is older.
APC does not knowingly invite or allow minors to participate in adult peer support spaces or psychedelic-related programming unless a specific program explicitly states otherwise and appropriate safeguards are in place.
We reserve the right to deny, suspend, or terminate access to APC spaces if we believe a person does not meet eligibility requirements or if participation would be inappropriate, unsafe, or inconsistent with APC’s purpose.
Important Scope Notes
APC is not a healthcare provider
APC does not provide medical care, psychotherapy, psychiatric care, clinical diagnosis, crisis intervention, emergency services, or other licensed healthcare services. APC facilitators, volunteers, educators, community members, or organizers may have personal, professional, academic, or lived experience, but participation in APC does not create a provider-patient, therapist-client, counselor-client, clinician-client, fiduciary, or legally privileged relationship.
Information shared through APC is for general educational, community, peer support, or informational purposes only. It should not be relied on as medical, psychological, psychiatric, therapeutic, legal, or professional advice.
APC is not a psychedelic service provider
APC does not provide, facilitate, supervise, administer, sell, distribute, source, recommend, prescribe, or arrange access to psychedelic substances, controlled substances, illegal substances, medications, or any substance-related service. APC does not provide psychedelic-assisted therapy, guided psychedelic sessions, trip sitting, underground referrals, sourcing assistance, dosage advice, medical screening, retreat referrals, or clinical treatment recommendations.
Any discussion of psychedelics, altered states, integration, harm reduction, or personal experience is provided for educational and peer support purposes only. Participants are solely responsible for their own choices, safety, legal compliance, and professional care decisions.
APC is not a crisis service
APC is not a crisis line, emergency response service, suicide prevention service, psychiatric emergency service, or urgent care provider. APC websites, forms, emails, community spaces, meetings, and facilitators may not be monitored in real time. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, psychiatric emergency, risk of harm to yourself or others, or another urgent safety concern, contact emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource in your location.
No Professional Advice
APC may provide educational information related to autism, neurodivergence, psychedelics, harm reduction, integration, relationships, mental health, nervous system regulation, community support, research, or related topics. This information is not individualized professional advice. You agree that:
- You will not treat APC content as medical, psychiatric, psychological, therapeutic, legal, financial, or professional advice.
- You will consult qualified professionals when making decisions about health, medications, mental health treatment, legal matters, or other high-stakes issues.
- You are responsible for evaluating whether APC content is appropriate for your circumstances.
- You will not delay, avoid, or disregard professional care because of something you read, hear, or discuss through APC.
APC does not guarantee that any information on the website or in APC spaces is complete, current, accurate, applicable to your circumstances, or suitable for any particular purpose.
Personal Responsibility and Assumption of Risk
Participation in APC may involve discussion of sensitive, emotionally charged, personally significant, or potentially destabilizing topics, including autism, neurodivergence, trauma, mental health, psychedelics, altered states, spiritual experiences, relationships, disability, identity, grief, conflict, marginalization, or personal harm. By participating, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You are responsible for your own participation, choices, disclosures, boundaries, and self-care.
- You are responsible for deciding what to share and what not to share.
- You are responsible for seeking appropriate professional, medical, therapeutic, legal, or crisis support when needed.
- APC cannot guarantee that participation will be helpful, safe, comfortable, emotionally neutral, or appropriate for every person.
- Peer support is not a substitute for professional care.
- Community discussion may include perspectives that differ from your own.
- You may encounter content that is emotionally challenging, provocative, or personally activating.
- You participate voluntarily and assume responsibility for the risks associated with your participation.
APC may encourage participants to practice self-advocacy, boundary setting, discernment, and intentional participation. If you say you are okay with something, agree to participate, or choose to remain in a space, APC may reasonably rely on your stated consent unless you communicate otherwise or circumstances indicate a safety concern.
Community Agreements and Conduct
APC spaces are intended to support respectful, consent-based, neurodiversity-affirming, non-coercive, and community-oriented engagement. By participating in APC spaces, you agree to follow these Terms, any posted Community Agreements, and any event-specific or platform-specific rules. You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, exploit, or abuse others
- Use demeaning, discriminatory, hateful, or targeted language toward protected or marginalized groups

APC may remove content, issue warnings, restrict access, remove participants, suspend accounts, ban users, cancel registrations, decline service, or take other action when we believe these Terms, Community Agreements, safety expectations, or APC values have been violated.
Confidentiality and Its Limits
APC may ask participants to respect the privacy and confidentiality of others. However, APC cannot guarantee confidentiality in peer support spaces, group meetings, online forums, chat platforms, social media spaces, email threads, or other community settings. You agree that:
- You will not share another participant’s identifying information, personal story, screenshots, messages, or disclosures without permission.

- You understand that other participants may not follow confidentiality expectations.
- You are responsible for deciding what information you choose to disclose.
- You should not share information that would cause serious harm if repeated, copied, saved, or disclosed.
APC may disclose information when we believe it is necessary to comply with law, respond to legal process, protect safety, investigate misconduct, enforce these Terms, or protect APC, participants, facilitators, volunteers, or others.
Meeting Recordings, Screenshots, and Transcripts
APC does not record peer support meetings unless participants are clearly notified and any required consent is obtained.
Educational events, presentations, webinars, trainings, forums, or workshops may be recorded if the event description, registration page, or facilitator states that recording will occur. When a meeting or event is recorded, recording may capture:
- Audio
- Video
- Chat messages
- Participant names or display names
- Questions or comments shared during the event
If you do not want to appear in a recording, you may keep your camera off, use a preferred display name, avoid sharing identifying information, or contact APC before the event to ask about available options.
Participants may not record, screenshot, photograph, transcribe, publish, or distribute APC spaces without explicit permission from APC and, where applicable, the people being recorded or identified.
User Submissions and Community Contributions
You may submit, post, upload, send, or share information, messages, questions, comments, stories, feedback, testimonials, resource suggestions, event questions, chat messages, form responses, or other content through APC websites, forms, meetings, or platforms (“User Submissions”).
You retain ownership of your own original User Submissions. However, by submitting content to APC, you grant APC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, store, process, display, adapt, summarize, quote, distribute, and otherwise use the content as reasonably necessary to operate APC, respond to you, administer programs, improve resources, maintain records, facilitate events, enforce community standards, and carry out APC’s mission.
APC will seek permission before publicly sharing identifying personal stories, testimonials, or quotes in promotional, educational, or public-facing materials, unless the content was already publicly posted by you in a context where public sharing is reasonably expected. You represent and warrant that:
- You have the right to submit the content you provide.
- Your submissions do not violate the rights of others.
- Your submissions are not unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, exploitative, or otherwise harmful.
- Your submissions do not contain confidential information you are not authorized to share.
- Your submissions do not include another person’s private information without permission.
APC may remove, edit, decline, archive, or restrict access to User Submissions at its discretion.
Public Comments, Forums, and Community Platforms
APC may host or link to public or semi-public spaces, including social media pages, Discord servers, forums, comment sections, chat groups, Zoom chats, or other community platforms.
Information you post in these spaces may be visible to APC, other participants, platform providers, moderators, administrators, or the public, depending on the platform and settings.
You are responsible for your own posts and interactions. APC is not responsible for content posted by participants, community members, third-party users, or external platform providers.
APC may moderate community spaces, but moderation is not guaranteed, continuous, or exhaustive. The presence of content in a community space does not mean APC endorses, verifies, or agrees with that content.

APC may use or link to third-party platforms, websites, services, tools, or resources, including but not limited to:
- Squarespace
- Google Forms, Google Sheets, Google Workspace, or Gmail

Your use of third-party platforms is at your own risk. You should review applicable third-party terms and privacy policies before using them.

Payments, Donations, Fees, and Refunds
APC may accept donations, event fees, membership fees, ticket purchases, course payments, sponsorships, or other payments. Unless otherwise stated, payments are processed by third-party payment processors or event platforms. APC generally does not store full credit card numbers or complete payment credentials.
Donations
Donations may be non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Donation tax treatment depends on APC’s legal and tax status at the time of the donation. APC makes no guarantee that a donation is tax-deductible unless APC explicitly provides documentation stating that it is tax-deductible.
Paid events or offerings
Refund terms for paid events, workshops, courses, or offerings will be stated on the applicable registration or payment page when available. If no refund policy is stated, payments may be non-refundable except where required by law or determined by APC at its discretion.
Cancellations by APC
If APC cancels a paid event without rescheduling or providing a substantially equivalent alternative, APC may provide a refund, credit, transfer, or other remedy, depending on the circumstances and any event-specific terms.
Participant cancellations
If you are unable to attend an event or offering, you are responsible for reviewing the applicable refund, transfer, or cancellation policy. APC may not be able to provide refunds for missed events, late cancellations, failure to attend, time zone mistakes, technology problems, or participant scheduling conflicts.
Recurring Payments, Memberships, or Subscriptions
If APC offers recurring donations, memberships, subscriptions, paid community access, recurring educational access, or other automatic renewal programs, the applicable payment page will describe the material terms, including price, billing frequency, renewal terms, cancellation process, and any trial period or promotional terms.
By enrolling in a recurring payment, you authorize APC or its payment processor to charge the payment method you provide on a recurring basis until you cancel.
You are responsible for canceling recurring payments according to the instructions provided by APC or the applicable payment platform. APC will make reasonable efforts to provide a clear cancellation method where required by law.
APC may change prices, benefits, membership structure, or subscription terms with notice where required. If required by applicable law, APC will obtain consent before making certain material changes to recurring payment terms.
Accessibility
APC aims to make its website, resources, meetings, and programming accessible and neurodivergent-conscious where reasonably possible. Accessibility needs vary widely, and APC may not be able to provide every requested accommodation.
You may contact APC to request accessibility support or accommodations. APC will make reasonable efforts to respond, but accommodation availability may depend on timing, staffing, platform limitations, event format, technical feasibility, cost, and other factors.
APC does not guarantee that every website page, platform, event, document, recording, or third-party tool will be fully accessible to every person.
Intellectual Property
The APC website and APC-created materials may include text, graphics, logos, designs, layouts, images, videos, recordings, audio, documents, educational materials, community agreements, event descriptions, frameworks, resources, and other content owned by APC or licensed to APC.
Unless otherwise stated, APC owns or controls APC-created content and materials. APC Name, Branding, and Community Identity
The names “Autistic Psychedelic Community,” “APC,” related logos, branding, page designs, language, community materials, and associated identity elements may be protected by trademark, copyright, trade dress, or other rights.
You may not use APC’s name, branding, or identity to suggest that you represent APC, speak for APC, host an APC-approved event, operate an APC chapter, provide APC services, or are affiliated with APC unless you have written authorization.
Volunteer, Facilitator, Speaker, and Collaborator Participation
APC may work with volunteers, facilitators, speakers, collaborators, community members, advisors, or partner organizations. APC may accept, decline, pause, or end volunteer, facilitator, speaker, or collaborator involvement at its discretion.
Unless a written agreement states otherwise, volunteer or community participation does not create employment, partnership, agency, fiduciary, contractor, or representative status.

If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, the dispute may be handled in the courts located in California, unless applicable law requires another venue or unless APC adopts a separate arbitration provision in a future version of these Terms.
